Sinopse:

Após o poderoso mago maligno Agahnim matar o rei de Hyrule e aprisionar as descendentes dos sete sábios no Mundo das Trevas, com o objetivo de sacrificá-las para libertar o poderoso rei das trevas, Ganon, o jovem Link recebe uma mensagem telepática da Princesa Zelda, e parte em uma jornada para salvá-las, e impedir os planos de Agahnim.

Synopsis:
After the powerful evil wizard Agahnim kills the king of Hyrule and imprisons the descendants of the seven sages in the Dark World, in order to sacrifice them to free the powerful king of darkness, Ganon, the young Link receives a telepathic message from Princess Zelda, and parts on a journey to save them, and stop the Agahnim's plans.
